About Emergent Publications

Emergent Publications (formerly ISCE Publications) was founded in January 2005 with the mission of developing a complexity focused catalog for both practitioners and researchers of complexity thinking. The heart of our publishing activities is the international journal Emergence: Complexity and Organization which is read by both academics and scholars worldwide.

EP also publishes in collaboration with Information Age Publishing the Managing the Complex book series which debuted in July, 2005 with its first volume - Managing Organizational Complexity. As of April 2010 four volumes have now been published, the latest being Complexity and Knowledge Management, edited by Andrew Tait & Kurt A. Richardson.

In January 2005 EP also developed the capacity to publish complexity related books inhouse. Since then we have provided the necessary support for authors of complexity-related literature to get published in a professional and timely manner.
